MPEG-H

A family of 13 audio and video format standards from the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) that is expected to become dominant in the future. The H was likely derived from High-efficiency, and calls for proposals began in 2011. The primary formats are for streaming (see MMT), video (see HEVC), audio (see 3D Audio) and images (see HEIF).
