Magnetron Gauge

 

a vacuum gauge similar in structure to a magnetron. There are two types, ionization gauges (Lafferty manometers) and discharge gauges. The measurement range of the ionization type is 10-5 to 10-11 newton per sq m (N/m2), or 10-7 to 10 millimeter of mercury (mm Hg; the range of the discharge types is 102 to 10-9 N/m2(104to 10-11 mm Hg).
