Location:Northeast portion of the state, off State Forest Highway.
Facilities:82 campsites (37 with lean-tos), hot showers, flush toilets, picnic areas, picnic shelter, swimming beach, trails.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking.
Special Features:Maidstone Lake is one of the few places in the state where loons have reared their young in recent years. Once common in Vermont, the loon is now considered a threatened species (though no longer on the endangered species list).
