Mashtaga

 

an urban-type settlement in Azerbaijan SSR, on the Apsheron Peninsula, part of Lenin Raion of the city of Baku. Population, 22,900 (1972). A cannery, a woodworking combine, and stone quarries are located in Mashtaga. Dairy and vegetable and subtropical crops sovkhozes are also located there.
