Maxwell bridge[′mak‚swel ‚brij]
A four-arm alternating-current bridge used to measure inductance (or capacitance) in terms of resistance and capacitance (or inductance); bridge balance is independent of frequency. Also known as Maxwell-Wien bridge; Wien-Maxwell bridge.
