Mel’nitsa-Podol’skaia

 

an urban-type settlement in Borshchev Raion, Ternopol’ Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It is situated on the Dnestr River, 4 km from the Ivane-Puste railway station, the terminus on a branch of the KopychintsyStefaneshty line. The chief industries are a fruit and vegetable cannery and a factory producing household articles. Ukrainian folk musical instruments and national costumes are also produced.
