One of the 2nd-magnitude stars is magnitude-1.9 Beta (|3) Aurigae (Menkalinan), whose current RA happens to be 6h 00m.
Look east of Capella to locate 1.9-magnitude Menkalinan, or Beta ([beta]) Aurigae.
The Arabic name for this star, Menkalinan, which was originally al mankib dhi'l inan or the "shoulder of the rein-holder," is derived from Ptolemy's positional description, as are many Arabic star names.
