Mezhdunarodnaia Zhizn’


a monthly political science journal. It is published in Moscow by the All-Union Znanie Society in Russian (since August 1954), English (International Affairs, since January 1955), and French (La Vie Internationale, since February 1961).

The journal deals with the foreign policy and diplomacy of the USSR and other socialist countries, the interrelationships of the countries of socialism, the national liberation movement, the economics and politics of capitalist states, general problems of world politics and economics, and the history of international relations. The journal prints previously unpublished documents concerning the foreign policy of the USSR, documents of international organizations and conferences, memoirs of Soviet and foreign political figures and diplomats, reviews of new Soviet and foreign books, and international reviews. It publishes replies to readers’ queries, methodological advice, and reference information.
