a city (until 1959, a settlement) in Ust’-Vym Raion, Komi ASSR. Junction of railroad lines to Kotlas, Vorkuta, Syktyvkar, and Koslan. It has railroad-transport enterprises and a lumbering combine. Mikun’ was established in 1937 as a railroad settlement.
