Miller, Joyce (Dannen)

(1928–  ) labor leader; born in Chicago. A staff member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers in Chicago (1952–1972), she was elected international vice-president of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union in 1976, and president of the Coalition of Labor Union Women in 1977.

He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Wheatley of Du Quoin and Marcella (Ralph) Hayes of Pinckneyville; brother-in-law Frank Graff of Carbondale; nieces Pam Loiacono, Carolyn Engel, Marla McNulty, Mary Miller, Joyce Sprenger and Tracy Cicardi; nephews Charley Mozi, Tim Wheatley, Tom Wheatley and David Wheatley; and many cousins.
