refinery would drop to 347,000 barrels per day (bpd) from 466,000 bpd, while Mina Abdulla refinery's capacity would rise to 454,000 bpd from 270,000 bpd.
The LNG will be sourced from Qatargas 2, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, that commenced generation in 2009, and will be supplied on-board Q-Flex LNG Vessels, chartered by Qatargas, to KPC's Mina Al-Ahmadi

The project will involve upgrading Kuwait's Mina Abdullah and Mina Al-Ahmadi
refineries to increase capacity.
The Kuwait CFP project to come up in the Mina Abdullah province, about 30 miles southeast of Kuwait City, is worth $12 billion and includes the Mina Abdullah I&II and Mina al-Ahmadi
