Mitiushikh Guba

 

a fjord-like bay of the Barents Sea off the western shore of Novaia Zemlia’s northern island. Length, 37 km; width at the mouth, 9 km; maximum depth, 51 m. The banks are steep and rocky. There are several islands in Mitiushikh Guba. The Promyslovaia and Mutnaia rivers empty into the bay.
