Moldova-Film

 

a film studio in Kishinev, in the Moldavian SSR, producing feature films, newsreels, and documentaries. Founded in 1944 as a branch of the Central Studio for Documentary Films, the studio came under the direction of the Kiev Studio for Newsreels in 1947. In 1952 the Kishinev Studio for Newsreels and Documentaries was formed. In 1957 the studio began to make feature films and was renamed Moldova-Film.
