Location:South central Indiana, 10 miles south and east of Bloomington; accessible from State Roads 37, 46, 446, and 50 via local roads.
Facilities:226 electric and 94 non-electric campsites, modern restrooms and showers at campground, camp store, picnic areas, shelters, playgrounds, hiking trails, 9 boat ramps, fishing piers, marinas, gas dock, pontoon and fishing boat rentals, food concessions, 2 swimming beaches, bathhouses with showers, restrooms, nature center.
Activities:Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, water-skiing, hiking, ice fishing, hunting, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Lake area includes Allen's Creek, Cutright, Fairfax, Moore's Creek, Paynetown, and Salt Creek state recreation areas.

The water will be pumped over the next 90 days from Monroe Lake, a 39-acre recreational fishing lake owned and managed by ODNR's Division of Wildlife.
