Whole plant is edible, including the root. Cup-like leaf with flower sticking through middle. Very high in vitamin C, lots of protein and fiber. Tastes great with egg salad. Roots boiled few minutes tastes like water chestnuts. Make a salad with some apple cider vinegar and oil. No poisonous lookalikes.
