Moser-Pröll, Annemarie, 1953–, Austrian skier. One of the world's greatest Alpine skiers, Moser-Pröll dominated women's skiing in the 1970s, and her 62 World Cup wins from 1970 through 1980 set the women's record (broken in 2015 by Lindsey Vonn). She won six overall World Cup titles (1971–75, 1979), a record, as was her string of five consecutive overall titles, and she ranked second overall in 1977, 1978, and 1980. A downhill specialist, she won Olympic silver (1972) and gold (1980) in that event and silver (1972) in the giant slalom.
