Mospino

 

a city (since 1938) in Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It is under the jurisdiction of the Proletarskii Raion Soviet of Donetsk. Mospino is located on the Gruzskaia River (a tributary of the Kal’mius). Railroad station on the Donetsk-Ilovaiskoe line; population, 18,900 (1973). There is coal mining. Mospino has a briquette-concentrating plant and enterprises of the food industry. There is a poultry-breeding sovkhoz and a poultry farm in the city.
