Facilities:56 campsites with hot showers and flush toilets, group camping sites (some with horse facilities), restrooms, showers, picnic areas (é), trails, museum/visitor center (é), interpretive center (é), exhibits and displays, gift shop.
Activities:Camping, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, wildlife watching.
Special Features:The summit of Mount Diablo affords a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of more than 20,000 square miles of California, including Lassen Peak, the Farallon Islands, the Sierra Nevada, and San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. The park's extensive trails also feature good viewing locations.
