Muialdy

 

a mud-bath health resort in Pavlodar Oblast, Kazakh SSR. Located 17 km from Pavlodar in the western part of the Kulunda Steppe. The climate is sharply continental, with warm summers (average temperature in July, 21°C) and cold winters (average temperature in January, —18°C). The average annual precipitation is 260 mm.

Silt mud and brine from Lake Muialdy are used for medical treatment at the resort. Patients with gynecological diseases as well as diseases of the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems are treated. Muialdy has a sanatorium and a mud-bath facility.
