Musipedia

A music database and identification website that enables a song or musical piece to be recognized by its melody, rhythm or music notation. Songs are searched with human examples: playing a simulated piano, drawing the notes or entering a melody by singing monosyllables ("na-na-nuh-na-na"), tapping it out in a melodic fashion or entering its melodic contour (see Parsons Code). Client programs can also access the Musipedia database using SOAP-based messages (see SOAP).

Community driven and called "The Open Music Encyclopedia," data can be edited by registered users. For more information, visit www.musipedia.org. See music search.

Particularly, Musipedia service uses SOAP protocol described in [16].
For our implementation we selected some music searchers which may be accessed programmatically, particularly: Musipedia. Music Ngram Viewer, and FolkTime Finder.
Unfortunately it is the only way to communicate with the Musipedia system.
