Nampeyo, Dextra Quotskuyva (b. Tsu Mana)

(?1859–1942) Hopi potter; born at Hanu Pueblo in present-day Arizona. Her revival of ancient designs led to a renaissance of Hopi pottery, transforming its quality and leading to its elevation as an art form.
