Natural Astrology

Natural astrology is the branch of astrology dealing with the motions of the heavenly bodies and the effects of the planets on such natural phenomena as the weather. The former is now called astronomy, the latter meterological astrology or astrometeorology.

In the seventeenth century, astrology was understood to have two branches: natural astrology and judicial astrology.
Natural astrology dealt principally with medicine and health, both individual and public, and with the weather; judicial astrology with readings of personal characteristics and predictions of future events.
