Neoarsphenamine

 

(also Neosalvarsan), an organic medicinal preparation that contains 19–20 percent arsenic. Neoarsphenamine is mostly used to treat syphilis and other spirochetoses. Lung abscesses, gangrene of the lungs, and some other diseases are also occasionally treated with neoarsphenamine.
