According to Papp (1989), Whitfield & Wagner (1991), and Beyarslan (2009) the species of Mirax are solitary endoparasitoids of lepidopteran larvae of Coleophoridae, Graciillaridae, Heliozelidae, Nepticulidae and Tischeriidae on many host plants.
