a revolutionary communist journal published by K. Marx and F. Engels in 1850. In all, there were six issues. Although it was printed in Hamburg, the editorial board was based in London. As the theoretical organ of the Communist League the journal thoroughly analyzed the revolutionary struggle of 1848–49.
