..... Click the link for more information. . The Tamsui is the main river. Technology, service industries, and tourism are economically important, and there is a major port on the East China Sea. Tea, rice, sweet potatoes and citrus are grown, and coal and other minerals are mined. Manufacturing includes paper and wood products, textiles, machinery, and chemicals. Three nuclear reactors in the north produce much of Taiwan's electricity.
