Nexus Player

A streaming set-top box from Google introduced in 2014. Manufactured by Asus and running Google's Android TV platform, Nexus Player supports numerous entertainment apps downloaded from the Google Play store, including Pandora, Netflix, Hulu, along with news and entertainment channels. It also allows users to Google Cast (stream) content from their laptops and mobile devices to the TV. A gamepad controller for video games is optional. The software would be made available to Google devices Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones, the Pixel C notebook and the Nexus Player before coming to the rumored second generation Pixel smartphones, likely sometime in October.
The June OTA security update is also being rolled out to the Pixel C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Nexus 9 LTE and Nexus 9 Wi-Fi, according to (http://www.androidpolice.com/2017/06/05/june-nexuspixel-factory-images-ota-files-now-available-download-includes-fix-pixel-freezing/) Android Police .
You'll also need a compatible device, which includes the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, the Pixel C tablet, the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and the Nexus Player. Download it to check out new features like Notifications Dots, Autofill and Picture-in-Picture.
The update is available for devices including the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus Player and Pixel C and brings a number of bug fixes and the April security update.
The update was first made available to Nexus devices such as the Nexus 9, Pixel C, Nexus Player, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.
The Android O preview will be available for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Nexus Player devices.
