Gabyshev, Nikolai Alekseevich


Born Apr. 10, 1922, in Khomustakh Nasleg, Verkhneviliuisk Raion. Soviet Yakut writer. Member of the CPSU since 1963.

Gabyshev wrote the narrative In Distant Amychan (1951), the collections of stories Beloved Children of Mine (1956) and Love (1964), and the narrative The Blossoms of Kolyma (1967). He also wrote a collection of stories and narratives entitled My Acquaintances (1958) and the play Two Happy Lives (1960).
