Noninfectious Plant Diseases

 

pathological processes that arise in a plant mainly under the influence of abiotic environmental factors. Such factors include deficient or excessive soil moisture, disruption of the regime of mineral nourishment, and the effects of high and low temperatures. Damage from noninfectious plant diseases exceeds the damage caused by all infectious diseases.
