Novaia Vodolaga

 

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Novaia Vodolaga Raion, Kharkov Oblast, the Ukrainian SSR. It has a railroad station (Vodolaga) on the Mere-fa-Krasnograd line. Population, 15,700 (1973). Among the enterprises located in Novaia Vodolaga are the Stroidetal’ Combine, a bread-baking combine, a building materials plant, and a milk plant. Quartz sand is mined nearby.
