Okazaki

 

a city in Japan, on the island of Honshu, on the Yahagi River, in Aichi Prefecture. Population, 210,500 (1970). Okazaki is a center of the textile industry; there are also chemical and food-processing enterprises, as well as a watch and clock factory.
