Okulovka

 

a city (until 1965, a settlement); center of Oku-lovka Raion, Novgorod Oblast, RSFSR. Railroad station on the Leningrad-Moscow line. Located 205 km east of Novgorod. Population, 19,000 (1974). Industry in Okulovka includes a pulp and paper combine, a furniture-accessories factory, railroad transportation enterprises, a lumber combine, a meat-packing plant, and a dairy. Clothing and knitwear are produced.
