Omsk, University of

 

organized in 1974. During the academic year 1974–75 the University of Omsk accepted students in Russian language and literature, history, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and legal studies. The university has 11 sub-departments, including those specializing in the history of the CPSU, the history of the USSR, the theory of the state and law, general physics, Russian language, and Russian and Soviet literature.
