Onokhoi

 

an urban-type settlement in Zaigraevo Raion, Bu-riat ASSR. Situated on the left bank of the Uda River, a tributary of the Selenga River. Railroad station 40 km northeast of Ulan-Ude. Population, 10,100 (1970). The settlement has a timber-transshipping combine and a sawmill.
