Onsala Space Observatory

(on -să-lă, on-sah -lă) A radio observatory of Chalmers University of Technology, Onsala, Sweden, located on the Onsala Peninsula south of Gothenburg. It has a 20-meter dish, enclosed in a golfball-like radome, for observations at millimeter wavelengths and a 26-meter radio telescope, in operation since 1965 at frequencies below 10 gigahertz.
