Select SOT-23 op amps feature an extended industrial temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius, low operating voltage down to 1.
For this application, look for an op amp with a 3 dB bandwidth figure of at least four to five times the bit rate being handled, very high slew rate, minimal overshoot and of course, very low output impedance.
Almost all PC and consumer electronics end equipment now consume increased amounts of power, a factor that has created demand for high speed op amps operating off split supplies into rail-to-rail op amps, which are becoming popular design choices--despite the fact that these devices do not actually reach either rail.
