Open Memory Interface
Open Memory InterfaceA serial memory interface that uses far fewer pins on the memory module than the traditional parallel DDR memory. Debuting in 2018, Open Memory Interface (OMI) modules contain a built-in controller rather than requiring circuits on the motherboard. See SDRAM and memory module.
