A graphical user interface server for Sun workstations which handles SunView, NeWS and X Window System protocols.

OpenWindows

A version of the X Window system from Sun that included additional applications and the Open Look graphical interface. OpenWindows was superseded by the CDE and Java Desktop System (JDS) environments. See Open Look, CDE, JDS and Solaris.
