Otto, Frei

(1925–)
German architect and pioneer of the suspended tent roof. He used the idea for the West German Pavilion, Expo ’67, Montreal, Canada (1967), and for the Olympic stadium, Munich, Germany (1972). He published the book Tensile Structures in 1991.
