a city (until 1958, a settlement) in Kashira Raion, Moscow Oblast, RSFSR. A railroad junction of the Moscow-Donbas and Moscow-Saratov lines, Ozherel’e is situated 10 km southeast of Kashira and 124 km south of Moscow. It has railroad transportation enterprises and a brickyard. It also has a railroad-transport technicum. A mixed-feed plant is located nearby.
