(1) (Pantone Internet Color System) The Pantone implementation of the Netscape color palette. See Netscape color palette.

(2) (Platform for Internet Content Selection) A system for rating websites that has been endorsed by the World Wide Web Consortium. PICS is promoted worldwide in order to encourage self regulation and avoid governmental censorship.
