Palatka

 

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Khasynskii Raion, Magadan Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Kolyma Highway, Palatka is 87 km north of Magadan. It has an experimental reindeer-breeding farm. There are gold and silver deposits in the area.
