a narrow intermontane depression separating the Penzhina Range from the Koriak Highland in Kamchatka Oblast, RSFSR.

The Parapol’skii Dol is drained by the Pal’matkina River in the north and by the Kuiul and Pustaia rivers in the south. It is 425 km long, with elevations generally varying from 50 to 200 m. The southern part is situated on the Kamchatka Isthmus and abruptly ends at Penzhina Bay. The flat terrain is swampy, with many small lakes. The slopes are covered mainly with tundra vegetation. Thickets of dwarf stone pine are also encountered.
