Pearl Lake State Park
Location:From Steamboat Springs go west 2 miles on US 40 to CR 129, north 23 miles to Pearl Lake Road, and east 2 miles to park entrance.
Facilities:38 campsites (é), 2 yurts, restrooms (é), 7 picnic sites, boat ramp, trails.
Activities:Camping (late May to mid-October), boating, fishing, hunting (with restrictions), snowmobiling, cross-country skiing/snowshoeing, ice fishing.
Special Features:Park is located in the mountains north of Steamboat Springs and features excellent fly and lure fishing for native cutthroat trout. Fishing at Pearl Lake is restricted to flies and artificial lures; bait fishing is prohibited. The best fishing of the year tends to be mid- to late May during ice off.
