Peat Excavator

 

a general-purpose excavator equipped with extra wide and long caterpillar treads and capable of turning 360°; it is designed for excavation work in soft soils. Peat excavators may be built as earthmoving machines for digging and repairing drainage networks, trenches, and the like or as extracting machines with outputs of 30,000–40,000 tons of peat per year.
