Location:Exit 108 off I-40 at Morrilton, 9 miles south on AR 9, then 12 miles west on AR 154.
Facilities:125 Class A campsites, 5 tent-only fly-in campsites (é), group camp area, rent-a-camp sites, tepee rentals, 33 cabins, 24-room lodge with restaurant, picnic areas, pavilions, recreation hall, hiking trails (20+ miles), boathouse with snack bar, boat rentals, and supplies, a boat launch ramp, fishing pier (é), swimming pool, tennis courts, playgrounds, antique/classic cars museum, airport (daytime use only).
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Petit Jean Mountain rises 1,100 feet above the Arkansas River Valley, between the Ouachitas and Ozarks, offering panoramic views. Mather Lodge, the park's focal point, is situated on a bluff overlooking Cedar Creek Canyon, which features a 95-foot waterfall and a rock dam that forms the 100-acre Lake Bailey. The rustic-style log and stone facilities at the park were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
