Petushki

 

(until 1965, the settlement of Novye Petushki), a city and administrative center of Petushki Raion, Vladimir Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the left bank of the Kliaz’ma River (Volga basin), on the Moscow-Gorky highway. Railroad station 67 km southwest of Vladimir. Petushki has spool-and-bobbin and weaving factories, a lumber combine, and a silicate-brick plant.
