Petushkova, Elena Vladimirovna


Born Nov. 17, 1940, in Moscow. Soviet equestrian. Honored Master of Sports (1970). Candidate in the biological sciences (1967). Research worker at Moscow State University. Member of the CPSU since 1971.

Petushkova was champion of the USSR in dressage from 1966 to 1974, world champion in 1970, and Olympic champion at the 1972 Munich games. She has been awarded two orders.
