Planned maintenance

A planned regular preventive maintenance program to keep a building and its services in good working order.

The maintenance of a building, and/or its contents, on a schedule that is determined by the results of past experience and performance. Also called scheduled maintenance. Compare with corrective maintenance, periodic maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
