Pleshchenitsy

 

an urban-type settlement in Logoisk Raion, Minsk Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. Located 60 km from the Borisov railroad station on the Minsk-Orsha line, 67 km from Minsk. Pleshchenitsy has the Chistik peat-mining plant and a logging association. On the outskirts are an asphalt-concrete plant and starch-manufacturing, bread-baking and poultry-packing plants.
